Since my self proclamation as a fan of men with shaved heads, most people have misunderstood me. They thought this is some kind of a blind faith, that I will go berserk over any hairless man I encounter. OK, when one of my colleagues (whom I suspect has nothing better to do) “introduced” me to a bald Mexican guy, he turned out to be a total hottie… But trust me, it’s just pure luck. And when a friend told me he would only need to shave his head to increase his degree of sexiness in my eyes, that’s it. I think he has gone too far!
Come on, boys, let me enlighten you clueless people about head shaving matters
Here are some of my very personal views about shaved headed men:
- Not all of these men are sexy (obviously!) Men with lustrous hair can be as attractive.
- Men who are bald by choice tend to be sexier. However, unlike some girls, I don’t mind guys shaving their head to cover their balding. If you have a weakness, hide it!
- Skinny bald man is just a no-no. The same goes to their obese counterpart.
- Acnes and pimples on the scalp are not cool.
- Check out your head and face shape first before having impulsive urge to buy those hair clippers.
- Bald men are sexy because they look more masculine. If you are not that brutish manly type, you may end up looking like you are working in a hair salon (you heard that, mate?
) - And most importantly, it really all depends… You can have the prettiest face with the shiniest scalp in the whole world, but I can egotistically say that you are just not a turn on, he he…
Confused? Don’t be! I will give some examples to convey my point even more clearly. After that, please help me define what traits a guy actually needs to win my heart
Here are some lucky men who to me happen to be bald and hot…
Don’t laugh yet people! (I assume some will laugh at this point
) In different category, of course, are the men who aren’t bald, but I found them equally attractive…
Ironically, there also exists some gentlemen who attempt to be bald, but failing miserably in my hot-o-meter…
And finally… there is a class of men who, no matter bald or not, will never be able to climb the corporate ladder of sexiness in my eyes!
He he he… No offense guys! You know very well that deep inside my heart I love you all as much! (L)
ps: The finger pointing dude is the cocky guy who triggered me for writing this. Thanks, dear!

I rather think that “middle finger pointing” is HOT, with capital letters!!
Remember the things I said? I said that I’ll shave my head, curl my eyelashes, and inject my lips with silicone to make them pouty so that you’ll fall in love with me.
Love you babe. *smooch* *hugs*
hahahah… made sinting… read the 5th point one more time, please!
And when a friend told me he would only need to shave his head to increase his degree of sexiness in my eyes, that’s it. I think he has gone too far! –> Made
However, unlike some girls, I don’t mind guys shaving their head to cover their balding. –> Gigi
Oh and by the way, Gigi just looks so narcist there (taking pic of himself?!) that I can’t see a “brutish manly type” that he is supposed to have with his to-cover-balding-shaved hair.
So, I’d have to say this article is bias and inaccurate, especially the “And finally… there is a class of men who, no matter bald or not, will never be able to climb the corporate ladder of sexiness in my eyes!” part hehehe.
Awww man…….. gimme a break.
I guess I’m getting more and more famous to have my picture posted on someone else’s blog (I don’t even have one on my blog).
Btw, it’s okay if I’m not sexy in your eyes. Really! I mean it.
As long as I’m still sexy in the eyes of CUTE SINGLE GIRLS out there. =þ
“CUTE SINGLE GIRLS” is a contradiction (single >< girlS).
Just like the content of this posting… i guess the writer actually likes non-baldy men and treat ‘em as HOT =D
Well the whole shaving thing is somewhat out of fashion though there are obviously men who still consider this as an option. Guys who consider this look need to understand that most observers will assume that those who shave their heads are doing this to conceal obvious alopecia and/or are somehow trying to “own” or pre-empt the balding process.
There are guys who shave their heads who insist that they have a full head of hair but it is a complete lie because you can see their 5 o’clock shadow that reveals that there is no hair growth on the top. Come on guys… why lie about it ? There is this CEO type who hangs around the gym who shaves his head and talks about how he is going to grow
it all out again one day. Yea, right…..He hits on women half his age (rather unsuccessfully) and always likes to talk about his “choice” to shave his head.
The look is dead. Let it grow and just keep it neat.
Hmm… I know at least one man who really does this by choice, i.e. for practicality. And he surely is hotter without the hair
Well, I guess it’s all about preference. I like guys with shaved heads because it somewhat gives an impression of no-nonsense. Besides, I still think concealing balding is better than showing it off
Yes I acknowledge that there are guys with thick/full heads of hair who opt for the shaved look though in my experience they are the exception. My ex was in a band and had lots of hair though he shaved it down for a certain look. But most guys do it to disguise their baldness or perhaps as a way to strip away all pretense, which isn’t necessarily bad – as long as they are honest about it.
*Some* men can rock the look but ,(at least in my opinion), its only a minority of the guys who can do so – they tend to be quite masculine in appearance and also have a complexion that helps them avoid the “light bulb” effect.
For example Billy Zane is quite handsome with the shaved head look as is Andre Agassi and it seems to suit them. Of course they both are celebrities and have undeniable charisma so one could argue that hair (or lack thereof) is just a minor detail. But for the average guy on the street, it can sometimes look worse when they go all “Mr. Clean” as they wind up looking like a Hare (no pun intended) Krishna or a patient of some type.
Just to put things into perspective I’ve taught coed aerobics at a popular gym for about 9 years now so I’ve routinely interacted with the public since that time and have seen most fashion trends. I first became aware of the shaved head look for guys about 1999. In the end it is fine with me though maybe because I’ve had to endure the unwanted advances at my job of lots of these types, I’m not so high on the idea. While it might be validating and liberating for some guys to shave their heads it doesn’t obligate me to go out with them…..
Hi, Celeste! You are hilarious! I’m never crazy about Billy Zane, but I love Andre Agassi, with or without hair
And yes I agree, not all guys are suitable for this look. In fact, not many guys are meant to adopt this hair(less) style. That’s exactly my point in this article (beside to humorously “insult” my close friends, hehe…). Some people just can’t get this. When I said I like guys with shaved heads, they thought I’ll go ga-ga over each and everyone of them -_-” Oh, you know whom I pity the most? Those guys who have obvious balding but cannot pull the shaved head look off. What should they do?
Ah so you might enjoy this anecdote then. I was at a pool party last year. The host was showing sports on large screen TVs set up under some cabanas, which enabled an escape from the Sun. Anyway there was about 20-30 of us sitting there chilling when they showed a commercial with a rather handsome athlete who just so happened to have a shaved head. I remarked openly that he looked really hot and most of the gals sitting around agreed.
Okay well evidently that flipped a switch in the minds of some of the men who heard the remark as within half an hour I was getting lots of attention from guys with receding hairlines and a few with the shaved look. Maybe because I had had a margarita or two, it took a bit before I noticed what all these guys had in common. It was pretty interesting how rapidly an innocent comment was scooped up and translated by the guys to imply that *all* I liked were bald(ing) men. Yikes. So I know where you are coming from.
Oh nooo… It must had been pretty scary, getting attention from a bunch of balding men. But look on the bright side, you must be a very attractive lady to have that many guys hitting on you!
Hmmm… margarita… I love that too… By the way, I like your writing style. Do you have a website or something?
Sorry for the delayed reply though I’ve been away. I did have a fitness blog going at one point to promote my classes but I got too busy to keep it current and meaningful so I pulled the plug on it. Anyway, I like your blog and wish you success with it. They tend to be a lot of work don’t they ?
Relative to your kind assessment of the situation mentioned in the earlier posts, I think I was getting attention from the guys mostly because they thought, (quite mistakenly), that I was exclusively into bald guys. And as long as my appearance wasn’t totally objectionable then they were going to hit on me – or any other women who seemingly indicated a preference for bald(ing) men.
A large part of my fitness teaching philosophy involves promoting the concept of “body acceptance” amongst my aerobics students. But this general message has sometimes been misinterpreted by a few of my male students that I should accept their body ! In general I’ve noticed that whenever a woman even appears to have relaxed standards relating to dating or physical preferences, then men will act on this.
